Who we are

Zuno is operated by Zuno Inc., Remote-first team, United States. Privacy questions: zunohelp@proton.me.

What we collect

• You give us: name, email, hashed password, company name; billing address and tax details (card numbers are handled by our payment processor, we only receive a token and the last four digits); your website URL, brand voice settings, language and content preferences; credentials and access tokens for platforms you connect; anything you write to support.
• Collected automatically: features used, articles generated and published, settings changes, errors; IP address, browser, operating system, device identifiers, time zone, referring URLs; cookies and similar technologies.
• From third parties: metrics from platforms you connect such as Google Search Console; transaction and fraud signals from our payment processor; profile fields from any sign-in provider you use.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories such as health or biometric data. Please don't enter them.

Why we use it

To run your account and generate and publish content; to take payment and meet tax and accounting obligations; to detect fraud and abuse and keep the service secure; to improve features and fix problems; to send you service, billing and security notices; to send marketing emails, which you can stop at any time with the unsubscribe link; and to comply with the law.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, other than the limited identifiers described under Cookies below.

Who we share it with

Cloud hosting and storage, our payment processor, email and support tools, analytics and error monitoring, third-party AI providers that generate content for us, and authentication providers. All are bound by contracts requiring confidentiality and appropriate security. A current list is available on request. We also share data with platforms you choose to connect, and may disclose data where legally required, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or sale of the business.

AI processing

Zuno uses AI to research keywords and write articles and images. Output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate or resemble output produced for others, review before publishing. We do not use your content to train third-party AI models, and our AI providers are contractually barred from training on API inputs and outputs. We do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

How long we keep it

Account and configuration data for the life of your account plus 90 days. Billing and tax records for seven years. Support conversations for three years. Security logs for two years. After that we delete or anonymise.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for login, security and fraud prevention, the service will not work without them. We also use functional cookies for your preferences, analytics cookies to understand usage, and advertising cookies to measure our campaigns and show relevant ads on platforms such as Google and Meta, which may share limited identifiers with those partners. You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie settings and through your browser.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, get a copy, correct it, delete it, opt out of targeted advertising or any sale or sharing, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Email zunohelp@proton.me and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity. An authorised agent must provide your signed permission. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our response.

Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, encrypted storage of your platform credentials, role-based access, monitoring and regular updates. No system is perfectly secure. We will notify you of a breach affecting your data as required by law.

Children

Zuno is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. Contact zunohelp@proton.me if you believe we have.

Changes

We will email you or notify you in-product before material changes take effect. The "Last updated" date shows the most recent revision.
